Romancing the Palateby CzechManComment: I love the picture, and that was before I even saw the title which made it even better/more suitable in my eyes.
The image seems a little flat, though, perhaps more light on the strawberry would bring it out from the rest of the plate better? |

Minister Wedding Cam: The Kissby hotpastaComment: The field of view/distortion is a little disorienting. I think I would have preferred a rectilinear shot at a more natural fov and shallower depth of field to bring out the four people in the center. There is a lot of emotion in those four people, whereas the rest of the crowd is pretty dead. |

Heartbeatsby adyusComment: The softness definitely works, especially given the challenge. Nice composition, model, and shot. More emotion might make the model more engaging. |

Keeping Love Aliveby skewsmeComment: Keeping Love Alive ... for 97 years past his death? (1871-). I guess she was buried elsewhere.
Not a fan of selective desat, but I can't hold that against the picture. |

Kiss n' Sunby jnpalmaComment: I like it, I just wish the flare weren't obscuring the faces as badly. |

love uby fouadComment: The exposure/lighting could be better. A lot of the picture is over exposed. |

Since 2002by greslizzzComment: I think this would have looked better if it were a bit wider, having more space on the left, giving the objects in the foreground more room. |

Awaiting the Rendezvousby muur88Comment: fits challenge (for some values of romance); the obscured face, although I didn't like the lack of deatil at first, definitely works given the image. |

truro-motels-IMG_1577.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by justin_hewlett: Looks good, but I'm not too fond of the black asphalt in front. It occupies a significant portion of the composition and is very distracting and pulls my eye away from the rest of the scene. It doesn't seem to add anything, so I'd be interested in why you chose to include it. If there was some detail in the foreground then maybe I would be ok with it. |
I like the asphalt, it's what makes it unique in my mind. It makes it feel like like the rest of the picture is just painted on two walls coming into a corner. It's messing with my mind. I do wonder if it would have been better with something minor there though, even just a few errant pebbles. |
