I like this a lot, I think it's very cool... I know that this is how the guy is always so it doesn't really show action, but the way you shot it really works... :-) I think it is much more effective then had you shot it straight on... it almost seems like we're thinking what to do... I can't give it top marks because truthfully it's not completely your shot, it's someone elses art work, but I still think its a cool photo -8-

I see what you were going for here though... but I really am trying to go a little bit with the "action" part of the directions. He's scrubbing the board right... while this is a part of the sport, it's not the sport itself, the sport isn't in cleaning the board, it's in riding it, thats just my interpretation anyway. Is he really sunburnt, or is there too much red in the shot hehehe... hard to know. I wish we could see his face, and maybe his concentration on the task at hand.

I love the subject :-) looks like a lot of fun. I wish that the ball was closer to the guy, I can't tell whether he just kicked it, or he's going to catch it or what. Also the fact that I can't see the main guys face really bothers me. I do like the guy on the left coming into the frame's face. I think the ball should have been closer to the subject, that would have helped making this a more interesting and better sports photo. Great job with focus though, and at least you had the ball in the photo :-)

The two people in the photo make for a more interesting picture I think. I would have liked it if they were more at the peak of the wave rather then the bottom but it\'s not too big of a deal. Good action here... I might have cropped some off the top, but I kind of like it how you have it.

Wish we had a closer view of this. I'm sure it was probably zoom liimitation on the camera. Good action here though! I think, depending on how many Megapixels your camer is, you proabably could have cropped quite a bit, to bring them more into view. It looks like you could have waited til they were closer to you as well. I would have cropped quite a bit here...

Nice job with your composition. I don't feel this is a really sporty idea photo though. There is just not enough action for me to be interested in it. Plus she is WAY too far away for me to feel close to the subject whatsoever. I think sports photos are made their best either through action or through emotion or both. Although I see what you were going for with the rule of thirds, I think this photo has WAY too much water in it.. and like half of it could have been cropped out. Thats my two cents.

Great catch! I know you say you didn't crop, but I think it might have been nice if you had cropped just a tiny bit off the top, not a big deal though. Great look on the kids face, great action, might have been nice to have another player maybe coming up from behind to show it was during a game rather then just a game of catch or whatever, but thats ok. I love the tattoo... adds to the "toughness" of the photo. -9-

Great panning shot. Very nicely done, I like how its kind of going diagonally into the photo instead of just straight across. I'm curious what the brownish thing is in the middle that comes to the top of the car? Cropping some off the left might have made it a tad bit more visually interesting IMHO. I also think the exposure could have been just slightly longer? but I'm not sure on that one. Nicely done though.

Hehehe kiddie football always fun to watch and shoot. This is cute, shows some fairly good action, might have been nice to see one of the guys in yellow a little closer but it's not a big deal. I think you could have cropped down almost to the top of the guy in yellow's helmet, as well as some of the left to the farthest guys foot. Nice job getting the ball in the photo.

Cool, nice job getting closer to the action. I wish I could see more of the guys face, and that he was more at the peak of the action rather then being what looks at like the end of it. I like the redness of his shorts which draws your eye to him rather then anything else. I think cropping some off the top might have given it a little higher look because the water behind him looks flat.
