Snow Dayby justineComment: To me this is just much too busy. I think that maybe using a much smaller dof, and just focusing in on one part of the branch or swithcing your angle to get sky only in the background etc. might have helped, also the lamp post coming off on the right is semi bothersome, but not terribly. |

Barns and Iceby MJENNIComment: Beautiful use of black and white and an old fashioned grainy looking style. I know you'll get a lot of comments about cropping off some of the top, but I think I really like it... gives it that distant feeling that puts it kind of in the past, I like the free space. |

Purple Rainby TerryGeeComment: This is a really beautiful macro, done extremely well... I love the black background, and the choice of using just a few petals of the flower in the photo. Great DOF. The only thing I might say is that the droplets looks too centralized and unnatural... I think it almost might have looked better with fewer droplets. Nice job though. -8- good luck! |

Spanish bibleby bfourmanComment: I think this could have been more interestingly done... having part of the cross cut off is somewhat annoying... and I'm not big on the shadows left by the flash or the harsh lighting you used. |

Lemon Bubblesby jodiecostonComment: Nice still life, this is commonly done, but I like what is inside the glass, the bubbles are very well done, with the color of the lemon being a beautiful addition! Nicely done. |

Christmas in Vegasby alternaruleComment: Cool scene! a couple of suggestions would maybe to have been the people in the foregrounds feet in the photo, and maybe using a tripod and a longer time and a wider shutter might have given this an extra push. |

Tree of Iceby DiamondPeteComment: Kind of abstract looking... pretty cool. Nice job deciding to take this at night, and I would guess using a tripod. I like the different lighting on it. It might have been cool to zoom in even more and fill the frame with the dark branches and the lightness of the ice. |

Bloomby sleekrComment: Beautiful colors and nice job with the all black background! I think I might have liked it cropped a little more, eliminating a little off the right and the top... but thats just me. I like your dof. Good luck. |

December Saluteby AshezzComment: I'm sure you are going to get this a lot, and I know it was probably the point to have the flag in the background, but it looks like it is coming right out of his head which is very bothersome. Also the background is extremely distracting... using a fill flash for under the brim of his hat probably would have helped. |

December Skyby npageComment: Beautiful sunset but I feel that there is too much sky or too much ground, also it bothers me that the trees are so centered. I actually would have maybe gotten way down and shot up, trying to eliminate the mountains, or make them smaller with large looming trees with the backdrop behind them. |
