Russian SF of a certain period is really interesting, even if I admit that I found out about the movie because of the videogame, which is loosely based on the 'zone' idea but much less fascinating.

The only thing which puzzled me slightly was the harshness of the PP, but I guess postprocessing goes with the intent, and the intent can be very personal.

Life is Beautifulby flahermaComment: Lovely image and lovely movie. I am a bit unsure about the connection between the two, even thought the metal frames do look a bit like having barbed wire on them.
