Very good job of keeping everything black but the shoes and good light. To me, honestly it speaks more of childhood and perhaps parenthood than of family. Maybe a different arrangement of the shoes, introducing a third pair for a second parent, and/or tying up the laces so to connect all the shoes in a circle would have worked better. But again, it's just me, others might find the image very effective as it is.

Cheerful shot. The rimlight on his left side, along with the flat lighting, gives the strange impression that she is kissing a cardboard outline (now I have been staring at it for two minutes and started wondering whether that might actually be the case, a pretty good illusion :)

Daughter(Subject)+Dad(Photographer)=Family Time

Beautiful model, uhh, daughter and nice black and white. Actually, seeing this shot made me think of how one could make the concept more explicit. Including yourself into the frame busy fiddlign with a large format, while your inlaws point to their swatch and the nearby restaurant would have probably worked well :) I might have seen something like that with younger kids pulling dad's sleeve for attention.

Framing and composition are both pretty good, with the two curved shapes framing the animals and the grid not hiding their eyes. Personally, I don't feel the image connects strongly to the idea of family, as sheeps and goats tend to form a pack all the time anyway, but others might feel differently. Perhaps including a young one and/or a very old one would have made for a stronger hint to the idea of family ties. But, again, that's just me.

I liked the concept but, perhaps because of the lighting, perhaps because of type of photographs, I found it difficult to decypher what the framed images are about. So the connection with the idea of family is a bit lost on me.

Nice diverging perspective formed by the shadows. I always like elements in the photograph which might delay the discovery of the real subject. However, here the cycling girl is really prominent and the family looks a bit secondary, at least to my eyes. Perhaps, if the girl were loooking in their direction and being looked back at, the interplay between the two centres of interest would work better for me.
