About to pass you on the street. Lots of character and presence in this one. Wonderful, non flattering portrait.

Wonderful indeed, and such a creative use of lens flare, I have never seen a circular one as this before.

I am so incredibly dumb :D
When I first saw this one I felt there was something obviously deliberate to it, it reminded of other images I have seen, but I just couldn't puzzle out the idea behind it. In the end I had my wife have a look and spell it out to me (it took her 3 seconds, good that there is someone with a brain in the family).
It's really clever and so enjoyable. I am flooded with imagery from every direction, still I very seldom run into something which requires me to use my brain a bit. Wish it would be more often.

Thanks for this, I loved it :)

Interesting shot and the expression on his face is priceless. Without the title, the connection with freedom is not too explicit, but that's not necessarily a showstopper in my book :)

Freedom for the condemned

The prisoner is free, and the dismayed noose is left staring empty and useless at us. Or instead, final liberation in dead.
I am guessing it's probably the first.
Very effective lighting and detail on your rope and missing main protagonist, or lack thereof :)
An excellent idea.

A leap of freedom

Wonderul capture and perfectly framed.
The ball makes for an essential visual counterpoint to the diver, who's presumably about to curl and close into a ball as well. A future symmetry which gives dynamism and it's also mirrored in the two identical ladders.
Or perhaps I am just crazy :)
But I love it, wonderful capture.

I think many people would certainly see this as a very good example of freedom. Good concept.

Freedom of Speech

Agreed, conquering freedom of speech can be a pretty painful move :D
As a fellow bearded man, I feel your pain.
I am very incompetent at studio lighting, but it looks like it was pretty tough to balance things so to protect detail everywhere. Great job with the jacket and silver tape, but the skin seem to have suffered a bit in the process (unless the harshness/posterization was intentional. The rim light on the hair works well but it also look like it was abruptely cut at the bottom.
You have some pretty good drammatic light setups in your portfolio, I wonder how this pose would have worked with one of them.
But I like it, good job!
