Yellow, Part 3by jgal76Comment: Nice! Very sharp, excellent contrast between the yellow and the red and black of the fly. Not much DOF to work with here, and the focal plane is well-placed. I know how hard it is to catch them when they're still. |

Balloon Manby autoolComment: This is nice, though I do remember seeing another shot similar to this where the person was in complete silhouette. This might have worked better here, too. |

Grenobleby cheekymunkyComment: Nice. This is one shot where composition makes it or breaks it, as it's almost an abstract. The lines are very well placed. |

"Peace" taken 9-11by JPRComment: One of my few 10s. The hand gesture can mean several different things depending on where you are, and I like that it's open to interpretation. Depicts youth very well. |

Bulldozerby welcherComment: I'd add it to my favourites but it's already there. One thing I do notice (that may not have been in your other versions) is a light banding in the upper left. Looks like a burning artifact, and it's distracting. Have you considered a square crop? It has a medium format feel to it and it might suit it well. One of my few 10s. Good luck. |

Beachby PixelstateComment: You've chosen a good subject. I think the composition could have been stronger by tweaking a few things, though. I'd like to see more space at the bottom. There's a nice layering of beach, water and sky and giving these an equal distribution would really bring out the contrast of the ordered land, sea and sky with the more chaotic driftwood. The rocks behind distract, as do the boats. It would also have served the subject well to take the photo at a time other than mid-day. Landscape shots always benefit from the light at dawn or dusk. |

Texas Bluesby sherComment: I like this one. I like how you can tell a lot about the person just by the hands. |

Untitledby jmsetzlerComment: My pick of the challenge. I think this is a Setzler but I can't recally exactly. Says a lot about youth, power, authority and responsibilities. His peeking out behind the symbol of authority into the world is very well portrayed here. Nicely done. |
