Rascal at the Windowby lochianoComment: Anything to put a cat in a picture I guess...sigh... Aside from that, this could be greatly improved with greater resolution and/or less sharpening. It's very pixellated, especially in the fur on the cat's forehead. The overexposure on the nose is distracting.A more diffuse light would have worked better here I think. |

Sunset @ Tech cityby GoatfatherComment: I really like this shot. I can hear the 'it's out of focus' comments right now but this is a great example of how selective focus can improve a shot. Seems to be rotated a bit from horizonta - the foreground slopes to the right but it's very minor. Here's to a good score. |

Painting Technologyby DCThiessenComment: I quite like this. Good contrast, good black and white. Focus is bang on. The upper left corner seems a bit empty but I don't know how else you'd compose it without losing other aspects of the photo. One of my top 5 this week. |

Death of VHSby KonadorComment: This is one of the few good consumer technology shots this week. The smudge of light in the lower right is a tad distracting but otherwise a very good shot. I get the feeling this one won't do as well as it should. |
