Hole and a ballby russiComment: Nice. I like this. Very sharp. The texture of the grass is great. One thing I might have tried is knocking down the blue and/or magenta channel to get rid of the chromatic aberration around the ball. The shot is taken facing the light source, which works here for the grass, but the ball comes out a bit hot. |

Holeby SixtyfourComment: Not a bad idea, though I think the very harsh light here hurts somewhat. The chromatic aberration on the hole rims is a byproduct of the harshness. You might want to convert to black and white to get rid of that effect. I'd try a more diffuse light if you're into exploring it more. |

Edggyby FayechComment: Nice. I like the feel, though te border and the intrusion in the top right corner distracts. I'm not a big fan of this kind of border. Still, it's well done. DOF is an unusual choice and not sure it works. I might have focused on the yolk and let the background fall out of focus, rather than rendering the middle bit most clearly. |

'Round We Goby jas0420Comment: If this is something functional I've got no idea what it could be...very nice abstract nonetheless. The lighting is perfect. Might have converted to black and white, myself... |

Euroby A WeaverComment: Might have cropped this one closer and taken it at a higher/planimetric angle, but still a good shot. I especially like the top coin...maybe a severe crop around that one might have been interesting as well. |

Moon Bowlingby rll07Comment: Nice. Must have used a very long telephoto/telescope for this one, or you've got a serious amount of megapixels, or both. The composition is interesting. Personally I'd like to see the same width of black on the right side as there is top and bottom, though that's very minor. Not sure about the title... |

Marble Madnessby TurbotechComment: Nice...this could contend. I really like the composition...very minimalist. One nitpick is that the depth of focus is short enough to render the closest marble slightly out of focus. I'd prefer to see either them all in focus, or one in focus and the others blurred. The very slight blur is a bit distracting...still, very nice. |

Totally Globularby connieComment: Very sharp, nice tones. An urban geography prof of mine used to say 'Look up! You see things most people miss!' I'm guessing you did that here. I like finding beauty in something so obviously designed for function over form. |

The Golden Glowby tgarcezComment: Personally I'd like it a bit more if the globe wasn't so centered and it wasn't cropped so tightly at the bottom. Still, very round. Nice. |

The Light Houseby swaroskjiComment: I fear this shot will suffer from a lot of 'I can't see the roundness' comments. Well, I can see it. Nice shot, great exposure. Bit of noise but it's a challenging situation. Good feeling to it. |
