Day 5 - Take 2by kteachComment: Originally posted by pcody: yes. The deep curve adds much more to the flow. Just gotta ask, do you have your camera set to incandescent wb? I love the color. |
The blue in this case is actually done in photoshop. The wb was set to a preset that I use with my lightbox setup so I would get a more accurate silvery tint of the metal. The original version of this shot was done with the wb on automatic, so when I tried to adjust the coloring on that it had to go from a yellowish tint to blue, which I think made the noise even worse. |

Hoovesby JutildaComment: Unique... interesting how they're all walking out of the frame. I wonder what they're trying to get away from! |

Zzzzip!by trevytrevComment: Interesting twist to see the zipper heading down instead of up. There are a few different ways I can see faces in it this way. Nice focus, and I like the sunlight... much better than artificial lighting! |

day 5 - unpluggedby GinaRothfelsComment: Nicely done with the focus on the plug. It took me a second to figure out the plug since I'm used to seeing plugs that have the flat prongs. |

day 5by scwalshComment: Love the lines and reflections. The colors help to convey that dreary, rainy day feel. Nice! :) |

Bricksby ElaineComment: Definitely ordinary! Interesting the way you've caught the different colors of brick with all of the bright flecks of reds in both. |

day 5 - swingerby rachelellenComment: I like how the lines that the keys create are almost perpendicular to the lines of the wood grain. Great the way the red stands out too. |

Snake Eyesby Wenders11Comment: Nice simple shot.. for me the corners of the dice get lost in the background just a bit with the brightness. I'm not sure what you were going for when you said this wasn't quite what you envisioned, but it looks like you were going for those long shadows perhaps? If so, I think moving the light source down even further, even to the point of losing the highlights on the top pips, might help? Then again, you could have been aiming for something completely different :) |
