Such lovely tones and colors. Great set up too. I like that the little bit extra black on the top and sides gives a hint of the isolation that comes with being forgotten.

I think it's a testament to your idea that I got the "heavy stuff" part before I even read your title. I do wish the lighting was a bit more emotionally fitting, possibly harsh and contrasty to show some of the unease/frustration/angst a lot people feel when they need to do high level math.

Peach Wine Processing

I'd love to hear what this means to you. This one was the first that I've seen in the bunch that has sent my mind afire. The photo could mean any number of things, but the one that I like the best that I came up with is that the peach (as it so often does) represents the female. The wine represents the perfect female. And the press represents some of the things (plastic surgery, etc) that females do to try to become the "perfect female." I"m probably way off on this, but I really liked that idea.

As for the photo, the technicals are great and I love the simplicity of your set up.

The color palate on this is gorgeous. I love the inclusion of the bone and the bug. I just wish the lines had been straighter/squarer to emphasize the way the photo is boxed in by its border and the objects.

There's something about the processing in this that makes it much more interesting than the typical seagull shot. They look almost dream-like or cinematic or something. Either way, I like it.
