Through the Cloudsby StructorComment: Interesting perspective. It took me a second to realize that those were his feet. It looks like there is a blurry patch between his right hand and foot (left side of image). |

They've Come Undoneby jjsmomComment: This reminds me of some of the Barbie art displayed at a gallery I work at. Interesting color. The dolls almost look like they are floating. |

Oh no... he's found me!by paynekjComment: I like the scary lighting; it goes well with his huge eyes. Maybe a slight tilt would give some movement and make it seem like he was zombie-walking towards the viewer. |

Thoroughby RKTComment: Great lighting, reflection, composition, and depth of field. If I could be the slightest bit nit-picky, I'd say to take out the white bit on the left side rim and the little marks on the plate, but neither of those can be done with these rule. Wonderful image. My bet for the front page. |

Snacking Snailsby JMartComment: The background bokeh is very very pretty, but I wish there was a little more light of the puppets. |

Biggies meet Minniesby ak2007Comment: I don't like the lighting. Harsh lighting makes it look like you were trying to make the dolls look scary (which I don't think you were, based on the title). Winnie is also the only big one with light on his face. |

emotionsby pochvComment: The lighting is very nice, but I think a bit more light on their fronts would help bring the dolls and their expressions out even more. |

A Song for Friendsby banmornComment: I like the composition and the depth of field, but the green on the left is a bit distracting. |

Prelude to Freedomby togtogComment: I get what those black lines are supposed to be, but since you used a real hand instead of a fake one, I think the photo might have worked better if you had played that up to make some kind of statement about people being puppets of the government or consumerism or whatever : ) It might also look a bit cleaner if you couldn't see the knots and the extra hanging bits of string. I love the concept though! |
