I really love the concept, but I think the scene is too busy for my taste. My eyes keep darting back and forth between the lipstick/dog and the face in the reflection. I think the voters would comment on the white sheet as well. I think the idea works well in an environmental context, especially since this one definitely adds to the story, but I think you could make the scene more balanced if you re-shot and used a very shallow depth of field that keeps either the real scene or the reflected scene in focus, but not both. Like I said, I absolutely love the concept (such a great idea! and great details too!), but I do think you could make it even better. Hope that helps!

The title kinda explains why you made the image negative, but I don't think the negative really adds to the subject. I do like the leading lines of the swirls.

The arm is a very strange color, which almost looks to me like it belongs to a corpse : / That, paired with unfinished wood, an empty-looking glass, a bare grape vine, and half-melted candles just adds to the "death" theme for me. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for.

I love his tousled appearance, but I wish there was a bit of context in the background to complete the story. I'd bet that the voters are knocking you for using what looks more like whiskey than wine.

I think I would have cropped so the sun would be on the upper third line or even a bit above that so the focus of the image would stay on the foreground scene instead of getting a bit lost in the sky. Nice mood.

I would have preferred if the bottle was either all the way in the frame or cropped even more to make look more intentional.

I would have preferred if the lighting was more balanced: brighter in front so you could have darkened the exposure of the fire light to keep it from blowing out.

I love the was the bottle looks with just the red, but I think the image would have looked more balanced with color in the grapes and the wine too.
