This is a very obvious choice of application and so you'd hardly get any points for idea. Blown highlights are a crime in this section. I would also think careful about the angle - you'd hardly get good lines using medium or tele and even if you do it;s going to be boring having just the pews and the window. How about extreme wide angle and some light-shade play on the ceiling?

The lack of definition in the glass' edges would be okay in a less formal compostion, but it does look sloppy here.

It's a good idea of light and cross, but so blandly applied. A bit more play with angle and position of elements would make it much better.

Great pic. But are we to believe that no advance editing was involved in that halo around the tree. Actually, even admitting this, the dodging could be less obvious. For these reasons - 6.

I know this will sound cliched - but what is the beauty of this shot? Someone did a great metalwork, someone just pointed a tele at it and was good enough not to screw up metering under comfy uniform lighting whilst not being good enough to give sharp edges. A correct representation of good metal work, that's it. Does it merit 5+?

I take the point on lighting - my laptop gave a nice amber hue, but it's only two days ago I realised the WB in camera was set to shade. I would beg to differ on lighting - I like the softness of it and a little transitory vertical stripe. This, actually, what reminded me of a tree.
