A simple approach, elegantly done. Like your control of DOF, and it looks like a fine lens. pleasant bokeh

Very clever and original, unless you count the painted apple (lol)
Great shot.
(Revisited just say it was nice to see someone could recycle their props from the garbage challenge. Kitchen tip # 59 - a little lemon juice would have kept the apple fresher looking,)

Apples and oranges, oh my! Very clever and well done.
( Just wanted to stop back and restate how impressed I am with this. A simple clever idea well thought out and well presented. Ulitmate bump.)

Roar of the Grease Paint, Smell of the Crowd
Very good example of a more classic demonstration of camouflage.
First I like the makeup, the loop under the eye says you studied your background
I think it might have worked better of the top of the ear had been black, but just an unfortunate thing.
Second item would be of a photographic nature. The biggest failure is , in essence, the "roar of the grease panit", ie the glare off the makeup. I will be the first to admitt my knowlegde of studio lighting is zilch, my portrait work has been mostly natural lighting/available light, or in media which I could directly manipilate like charcoal. Therefore, its as much interested speculation as suggestion, but would a POL filter have worked to cut down the glare?
Third point would be framing. My first impression was to chop off the right 1/3 to bring it more in line with the RO1/3s, but can see that in this image there you could have a more powerfull statement with the "off balanced" subject.
Sorry it took is long to get your comment to you, so hopefully I said something worthwhile. BTW its a 9. and I'm very impressed by the effort you put into it.

A wonderfully bizarre and different image. Actually using the moire is certainly unique. It really leaves me in a tough spot, because I don't know how to score it based on topic. Neutral score 6
