I gues you didn't have a chance to get a better angle to get the real apple and it's reflection closer. And blown out watter in top of your picture is also a problem.
If we had wings we would be able to solve all our composition problems.
Since we don't, I give ya 8 for this couse I love the red apple standing out.

A photo should be memorable. I can see this scene by just looking trough my window.
That is only 1 out of 100 problems this photo is dealing with. I'm not going to point them
all out. Be more creative than this. And yes, use aparture to put things out of focus.
(blurry). Or it ends up looking flat and we can't see the edges of relevant parts.

Very nice colors and location. I personaly don't like this kind of composition where the
frame is splin in 2 very similar parts. Ofcorse this is the challenge to blame :-)
But I would cut alot of reflection OR real trees. Don't have to show it all.
That way you'd be able to get more creative composition and/or apply the rule of thirds,
one thing this photo misses so much.
But I don't mean to puch this critique too far. I love the picture! Congrats

This is just a snapshot, badly composed, poor contrast and colors.
Only reflection of something we don't see in original form. And a thing to add to it,
a very borring and so overdone subject.
