Thanks for all your constructive comments.
It was an extremely cold afternoon so I didn't linger too long on the bridge over the tracks. Personally, I find some HDR edited images are "unnatural" and in this image it is presented the way the scene really appeared. In this case I think less is more.

Thanks again. Just one of those times when everything clicks! I had to use the roof of the car as a tripod. It amazes me how foolish some people are around slippery rocks when there is high surf.

Thanks for the comments and I did forget to mention that flash was used which accounts for the brightness of the flower over the background.

Yes, I should have use a smaller f/ stop to get a bit more DOF.

Yes, I could have brightened it up a bit but I think it would have lost the muted colors created by a fading sun in late afternoon. I have to remember to look at the camera settings frequently as it was somehow set to "Auto ISO" accidentally. (big fingers)
