day - ja vu... orange juiceby nixterComment: What an interesting but simple photo. I love the colors and the added element of the person. My only nit is it looks like it could use a bit more contrast. |

Sugar and Spiceby MaryOComment: This looks like a cherry covered snowball. How cute is that! Nice use of shallow DOF to get the viewer to key on the peep.

The Hawkby MaryOComment: What a tough lighting situation to get exposure in. You did very good. Hawks are very skittish so to get close enough to get a nice shot like this is amazing.

I love the repetition of the snow circles on the fountain and the undisturbed surroundings very peaceful. |

15.12.08 editingby suemackComment: I'm going to make a quick comment and then come back to this later. I like how this is put together but something about the order and the starting point just dont feel right to me. Perhaps its too busy, perhaps its because you are on the other side of the world and like most things they are done a bit different. If I can put my finger on it I'll come back.
From a photographic standpoint, this is excellent timing and way to shoot through the action and get the girl coming out of the drivers window after wards.

6by sillygoatComment: This has a nice feel to it. I can also hear the crunching of the snow, but more importantly on a photographic sense, I can be led to the main subject by the leading lines of the sidewalk. This has very good compositional qualities to it. I am drawn the main subject then further down to the man walking away and then off into the snow by the sidewalk. Very well done. |

Another Tropical Sunset 3by MelonMusketeerComment: I really like this shot, I also like the flying bird, but I might clone out that one stick from the marsh just above his wing and the reflection. I'm lead to the bird and then the sunset while viewing but that stick grabs my attention every time. |
