Runningby JudiComment: Something seems amiss with the colors and saturation of this shot. Also may be a bit oversharpened. |

Climbing Highby kas66Comment: Focus seems a bit off on the subjects in this shot. I like the colors and the setup, just wish it was sharper. |

Acrobikerby flavsComment: I think a tighter crop may have taken out the kids in the background and made the shot stronger. |

Lakshmiby BrielleComment: Greetings from the Critique club. First off let me tell you I'm not a fan of digital art, or overly photoshopped shots. Just being upfront.
That said I do like this composite to the point that I can enjoy it for what it is.(thats a good thing)
I like the simple yet creative way you have done a classic piece. The setup for the clothing and poses are nicely done. I'm not so sure I like the sunburst behind the head but that may be personal preference. I almost wish since you had decided to put the subject on the clouds that you had her sitting instead of standing. Perhaps sitting on the edge of the cloud feet hanging over kind of thing. The skin tone you changed to while normally I'd not like it, it adds to what you have created. Overall pretty well, I think it was voted a bit lower then I would have even not liking digital art/photo manipulation that much. I likely would have scored it a 6. |

Couple of galaxies decorating the skyby CyMaNComment: Greetings from the critique club. First off let me tell you this is a well done shot and I'm kind of suprised it didnt score higher then it did. I'm not sure most people understand the difficulty of shooting this type of photo. I'm really not sure what I can tell you to improve the shot. However I will tell you that adding a simple border does help with the voters and I might suggest that you try that next time. Overall well done. |

Harlequin Hiveby JonathanJComment: Greetings from the Critique club. First things first. I love the color of the bugs, they are fun little creatures. I'd liked to have seen a bit more DOF on this and crop the right side of the photo or move the composition before taking the photo, the piece on the right keeps drawing my attention away from the subject because part of it is as focused as the insects themselves. Overall not a bad score. Good luck in future challenges.

Dreamscapeby JawnyRicoComment: Greetings from the Critique club. First off you met the challenge well because its a free study.
Things I like about the photo I love the bright colors and the contrast and saturation seem just about right. I'm not so sure about the composition. I dont like the railing in the foreground. I would have def cropped or moved up so as to not have that in the frame. I also might have moved left or right so that the trees arent dead center of the frame. I'd have preferred them off to the left or right of the frame. Overall a pretty decent score from a nice shot. Good luck in future challenges.

Embrace the Sunby BakerBugComment: Greetings from the critique club. Since this is a free study we will assume that you met the challenge! Well done. Ok now on to the critique.
As a macro/flower lover I am glad I was given this shot. First let me say I love the angle that you chose to shoot the flower, it gives it a great background color without distractions. I wish the flower on the right had been moved a bit so it wasnt in the way of the shot though. I also wished for a bit more off center maybe cropped a bit closer. I am glad you didnt do any over the top editing with colors, saturation, or contrast its a very classic shot and I like it. I would have given this a 6 had I voted. Overall pretty well done and good luck in future challenges.
