The couple of galaxies M81 and M82, the same object that I submitted last free challenge, but now the picture is much better... I did more exposures and it's not so noisy anymore.

Processing is done in Iris 5.3 and then in Photoshop CS2. Dark frame and bias frame calibrated.

The telescope was Orion Optics Europa f/4.5 with 900mm of f.l.

Cheers! :)

However I will tell you that adding a simple border does help with the voters and I might suggest that you try that next time. Overall well done.

Thank you very much!

Yes, I agree that most people don't know even what it is on the picture. This kind of photography is pretty unknown but I found it very interesting and there's a lot of beauty above us... Just we don't know for it!
Thank you also for advice for border. Will try this next time.

You can also visit my web-page anytime. Thanks! ;)

Nice job. Must be a guided shot through a telescope. Stars are fairly sharp. There is nice detail and color in the arms of the galaxies.

M81 and M82!!
I know how difficult it is to capture in such quality deep sky objects.
M81 looks amazing, M82 is very good as well. This has to be a stack of several images as the final result is completely noise free. Very well done! (10)
