What a shame...this is an incredibly well done photo...nice choice of fish eye and composition...great choice of black and white...but the picture feels shoe horned (forced). It is as if you are trying to pawn off a great shot in a challenge for which it doesn't really fit. I'd normally give this an 8 or 9 if it was dead on the challenge but since it feels forced I'm adjusting it to 7...great shot though!

My second favorite shot in the challenge. Outstanding! If you don't ribbon you've been robbed...but I'm sure you know you're going to ribbon with this one. My only complaint is that the horizon seems the slight bit tilted to the right. Maybe it's just me.

My dead nuts favorite in the challenge. Outstanding shot. I'm certain it's a ribbon...probably the blue.

Shooting fireworks in black and white is risky. While you might have done it to be artistic, the whole point of fireworks is that they are colorful and pretty. Desaturating the shot makes it quite boring. The composition of the photo also does nothing for me and the car/bus and light in the background are more distracting than helpful.

Unfortunately the photo doesn't make me curious to know what he's doing. The red glow and smoke are the only thing that make this appear to be fireworks but it's not enough to really make it stand out for me.

For me the photo does not meet the challenge (man I hate saying that). The photo is decent but not spectacular. If you score really low on the photo I imagine it's because people don't see how it fits the fireworks theme. Having a good photo sometimes seems less important at DPC than actually meeting the challenge dead on. Make sure the audience clearly sees you met the challenge and THEN make it a good shot and you'll score much higher. Good luck.

While the photo doesn't really speak to me per se, I can't believe some poor sap allowed themselves to be burried like that! Ok, anyone going through that much personal discomfort for a shot deserves a little higher score. I'd normally give you a 6 but I'll give you a 7 for your effort. WOW

While it is a very good photo and the model has a striking appearance, nothing about it really rings of "Bond." The outfit doesn't appear Russian to me and the mountain effect in the background, while a good idea, doesn't componsate enough to make it appear like "Russia." Good technicals on the photo but this doesn't nail the challenge in my opinion so I'm giving you an average score.

Two things hurt you here in my opinion. First, the image is fuzzy and jagged around the edges and second, the colors are almost "Austin Powers" like rather than Bond (though I realize Austin Powers parody's Bond films). I thinks nude sillohette could have been THE way to go on a Bond challenge but this didn't capture it the way I would have imagined. Gave you a 5 but could have been much higher with a few things fixed. Good luck.
