4 Candlesby mediamstComment: Intresting, but my own personal prefrences would have been to speed up the shutter a little bit. The Flames are a touch too light for me. |

This was a good try. The cuffs a tad out of focus, but this is a Macro shot of some sorts so you do not have much room to play with. My question is, did you want to blur the picture so you could not read the badge? I can understand that.
Besides that the picture is slightly grainy.

This is a great shot in the making. I think the buildings in the background take a way from it. Personally I would have framed it with the subjects a little higher. I realize you were trying to establish a mood with the background but, but I would not worry so much about what is going on behind as what is going on in front. That look on the childs face is Candid and that is what is important. This is a good shot to send to Grandma.

I think the Idea here is good. The real problem in my oppinion is the light. There is a major glare on the edge of the furn. With on camera lighting there is little that can be done. Especially if you have a point and shoot Cam. The best thing I can say is diffuse this flash with something but if you do that with a point and shoot then the metering will not be right for the cam to take the picture. Do not know what to say.
