We call these budgerigars - parakeets are completely different - much larger, with far more pronounced beaks and longer tails.

Why has the model got an inside out tee-shirt half way over his head? Sorry, that comes across as so incongruous, so unrealistic it spoils the whole image for me.

Otherwise this is a fabulous shot. I love the dog's expression; the yellow is good and works superbly with the blue background. If only we were seeing the whole face.
