Bad Waterby marcelliebComment: The border is very heavy and rather distracting from the image. The flow of the water ripples are good, but overall the image looks rather soft on focus. |

Sushiby ageszComment: I love sushi - but that stuff looks radio-active! |

The Dioscuroby pmottaComment: The arches forming your background are wonderful, and I can't help thinking that this image would have been better if they had been your subject. The statue really doesn't seem to add anything. |

Breakoutby sherpetComment: This is such a potentially brilliant image it breaks my heart that the lighting is so harsh that you've lost contrast and detail. That window frame, with it's peeled paint, the dimpled glass and the fabulous flowers sticking through make a wonderful composition, but it needs more depth. I'd maybe pin back that odd leaf on the left side as well. |

78 Year-Old Bridgeby kenskidComment: I know a couple of 78 year-olds who might tan your hide for calling them old!
And, I'm sorry, 78 years for a bridge just is not old. There are two within walking distance of my home which are well over 600 years old.
Composition is good, but your exposure is a bit bright so you've lost contrast between your colours. Try taking the photo at a different time of day to see how dawn or dusk light affects the picture. |

Gone to Seedby admart01Comment: It's really weird but there's one of these in the 'Something New' challenge too. That makes me one mighty confused little bunny right now!
Great shot, good composition and dof and I love the touch, just the slightest hint of colour from the background, that simple thing really makes this image very special.
Oh, and on balance, I think dandelion heads must be 'Something Old' since this is the stage after they've flowered and lost their petals. |

Grandpa's lampby MontagueComment: Or a replica, regularly on sale down the market for about a fiver! Nice treatment though, I like the simplicity of the image. Just not sure this is real authenticated old stuff. |

Old Fenceby Duke22Comment: Phillips screws - mmmmnn, not sure that they really qualify as old (first manufactured in 1936) but then old is relative.
Aside from that, a good sharp image although it focuses significantly more on the latch than on the fence - and I'm sure that latch design is older than Phillips screws. I like the sepia treatment, it works with this subject. |

Home Sweet Homeby tooterComment: Lovely cabin right in the woods, I think I could happily live there. Sadly the exposure on your image is way too bright to show it to it's best advantage. Maybe try taking the shot at a different time of day or use a smaller aperture. |
