Vitruvian Woodyby ShaneBlakeComment: Great idea and pretty good execution. Remember, it's advanced editing! Cloning out the metal rod would be better. |

To be or not to be ....by MilacroftComment: Maybe more like, "Alas poor Yorrick, I knew thee well?" Trying to tie in the cork... Nice pose, interesting lighting. |

The Woodpecker Discovers a Woody!by robinssongComment: Great idea, nice arrangement and composition, pretty good execution. Shallower DOF would help smooth the background and make it less distracting - here's where fast lenses show their worth. Also, lighting from front would probably be better as the backlighting isn't being used for much effect, IMHO. |

Theirs Was a Complicated Loveby KaDiComment: Pretty good arrangement, interesting lighting. Seems a little busy, simpler would be better, with DOF to include the ducky? |

Sad woodyby Gaby_GComment: Nice idea and pose. Focus appears to be on left arm, more DOF a slightly softer lighting would probably help. |

for my bestest friendby Ecce_SignumComment: Cute idea, nice pose and composition. Plain contrasting background would help, thumb turned out without visible thumbnail would be less distracting. Nice warm feel. |

Woody on Woodyby mistertocComment: Nicely posed balancing act, a challenge in itself! I think that a more complete shadow would be more interesting, or else less shadow, I'm sure you'll get a range of suggestions. |

Afro Woodyby heathenComment: Nice idea. Unfortunately, the afro is mostly lost against the background. Given that the afro is black, a lighter background would give better contrast. Also, an additional afro tie-in would help, maybe something '60-ish. |

By the waterby claudius1234Comment: Seems like a nice image and good composition, but the image is too small. Please see the tutorial on preparing photos for DPC challenges. |

driftwoodby talalComment: Good idea. Unfortunately, woody looses attention to the illuminated detail on the top of the image. Some light, strobe or even flashlight, would help woody. |
