One on Oneby Virginia LeoneComment: When using a slow shutter speed to emphasise movement in the photo you have to make sure that you keep the camera very still otherwise the background will also be blurred as has happened here. |

3...2...1...Take Off!by haircutComment: nothing in this shot appears to be in focus. a faster shutter speed would have helped freeze the action. and the composition of the photo would be a lot better with less background and more attention on the action. |

swimmingby steveh552Comment: not a bad action shot, I like the frozen splash and the facial expression but your processing seems to have given a very plastic feel to the finished photo, prehaps your jpeg compression was a bit too strong? Also the photo is too small - if you had used the full 640 pixel allowance then the loss of detail from the jpeg compression would be less of a problem. |

The gate is rolling...by jlsohioComment: this photo is way too small to give a high vote. you need to make sure that your photo is 640 pixels on the longest (not 275) side so that voters can see as much detail as possible. |

Hulk-cerby pigsoinkComment: why have you stretched the photo horizontally? - it looks terrible like this. |

fly by dayby 2112bonesComment: might have been a better photo if you had submitted a bigger photo. it's very hard to vote high on such a small photo.
The colours are also very harsh and the composition is not very interesting |

Looking for Sandcrabsby bilmokoComment: way too small, make sure that you use submit photos that are 640pixels on the longest side, not 250. you cant expect a good score unless the voters can actually see some of the detail in the photo. |
