I think I would have used some reflective surface to add more lighting front lighting. The background light overwhelms the subject a little bit.

Good job on this photo. I like the sharpness, simplicity, and blends of color - especially where the yellow syrup turns green with the blue background and the contrasting blue of the background and the red of the toungue and lips. The only negative thing I would say is that I keep getting distracted by her hair on the lower-left corner of this picture. It seems to "dead" in comparison to the liveliness of the rest of the photo. Other than that, nice job.
