Now that is either fantastic muscle control or something is/akin to Bells Palsy. If the later, awesome that you are brave, remain in good spirits and seeing the positive- it goes a long way. If it is supreme muscle control - Wow! The lighting and details are great in this portrait. There are great catch lights in the eyes that shows a cheerful sparkle. You have two asymmetrical subjects in the photo: the first is the 'emotions' on the face and the second is the thumbs up & thumbs down. This has very clearly met the challenge and is well done - should be in the top ten.

Just when you think you know a good bit about the world something comes along and surprise you. Thanks for including the name of the animal - my first thought is that there is no way this exists to find out that it does! Lighting and detail are very good. It is the composition that suffers a little and could be better. You left me wanting to see this sheep close up. I think it would be better if the head and horns filled the frame. That way your audience and I could see all the wonderful details in the fur and horns close up. It is a good shot, but if you brought your audience closer with zoom or crop you would have a stellar shot.

Great timing to capture the dandelion seed taking flight - giving a sense of movement to the otherwise frozen in time capture. Lighting is nice and bright showing off the main subject of the bug and the flower. It looks as if the bug is hesitating - nervously watching the dandelion seed take off first. The main thing that would increase the visual appeal of this image even more is if you zoomed up to give your audience a more up close and personal look at this bug perched on the flower.

Lighting and focus is great on this picture. You have some nice details visible in the texture of the number one. I think a vertical composition would have better complemented the vertical shape of your number one. While the shot is an excellent studio shot what is lacking in the composition is something that gives us a sense of scale. Something that we know is small paired with the number would give your audience a clue that this is a close-up shot as opposed to a very large number. Maybe a billard ball with the number one on it...something that gives a sense that the number is actually small.

Fantastic colors, great light and marvelous details from the snail to the thistle like flower! That snail is really hanging by a thread or rather a petal. Main subject pops very nicely off the bokeh backdrop. Well done.

They look like scooped out honeydew mellons in the shape of balls. Looked up galia and learned something new...wonder if the taste is vastly different or the same as honeydew mellon. Nice light and detail that shows off the how juicy sweet this natural treat is.

Great close-up of this Robber Fly. Wonderful sharp details, the colors are fabulous, and I like how you composed the leaf to be jutting out towards your audience. It is as if you are pushing forward your subject so that we can come in for a closer look. Nicely done.

Very cool close-up of the typewriter dollar sign. Great light that shines on the metal bar so that your audience can see all the gritty details in the texture and the build-up of ink on the typeset that has occurred over years of use.

What makes this shot is that 'expression' on the spider that makes it look like it is frowning. Great details on the face, lighting is spot on, and the colors of the composition really pop. It is a great photo but I still wish that the legs were in sharper focus so that this little spider can be fully appreciated. Still, it is a great capture.

Nice detail on the inner workings of the light bulb. I like that you lay your subject on a diagonal where the main subject fills the frame and travels from bottom left to top right. I think that the photo appeal would increase more if the full wire of the filiment was completely in the frame and that the bottom wall outline of the bulb was visible like it is on the top wall.
