Fantastic capture! I love how they are flying away from the sun. Not only is the arc acting as a ring around the sun but it serves to encapsule/frame the flight of these two birds. |

Nice light that lights the scene. Love the quiet understanding between the cowboy and his horse - they are indeed partners. Very nicely captured. |

Love the light here that illuminates the two deer. B&W tones are fantastic and well done. I like the title for the two are are facing in the opposite direction - a yin and yang. |

Love the soft light that streams through the window to illuminate the bowl of fruit sitting on the table. One also get snippets of what else lies inside the home. |

Walking in the Sunby the_rkpComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Great tones, warm colors, and action of the person walking the tree lined path. Love the silhouette of the tall trees - the tall thin upright shapes are akin and complements that of the man that walks amoung them. I like the feel of this as the warm tones give a feel of a warm summer day as we walk along with the person following the path home. |

Bioshockby macwilyumComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
The human figure emerging from a plague of darkness is visibly marked by the virus even as he clings to the hope of survival by donning a gas mask. Yes, just the thought of something akin to the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic is both scary and terrifying. Well done presentation of this scary thought - will have to find something happy to do to push down the scary thought of this. |

Not a fear I suffer from, but do understand that some find spiders very scary so I will look at it from that viewpoint. Judging on the merits of the photo - very nice details and great B&W tones that show off these two arachnids in chilling detail. Both spiders fill the frame so that one gets an up close and personal look at them - most especially the ones who would not want to be anywhere in the room with them. A great shot - 7. |

I can see the fear in her face. Setting and lighting is good. I think the image would have been even stronger if it was a more close up view so that the shadow of the axe is more prominent - I.E. a shot from just the waist up of the scared and hunted woman and the open door showing the portion of the stalker and the shadow of the axe. Still a good fearful effort - 7. |

In the basementby losemeComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Reality can sometimes be terrifying and scary. This image brings to mind those 3 woman who were held captive for so long in Ohio by a deranged individual. What they endured was horrifying. I'm glad they got out alive, but sad that they were not rescued sooner. This image of a woman held captive is very disturbing and I feel it is every woman's nightmare. |

Dance like nobody is watchingby JudiComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Great vibrant and warm orange/ gold hues that play directly into the tone of happiness. Dance like nobody's watching - heh, I can hear Pharrell Williams tune Happy playing. Great capture of the model losing themselves in the enjoyment of the dance. Love how you (or perhaps just a happy coincidence) composed the shot so that the clouds dress the barren tree like foliage. Very well done will likely be in the top 5. |
