Candy Blueby DCrest01Comment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Wonderful lighting and details in this composition! I like how you composed all the elements in this still life - this photo really is 'eye candy'. The candy 'pours' out of the open glass jar and the wavy blue lines of the backdrop 'pour' into the metal cap (which would be a great 'dish' to carry a bunch of these jellybeans). |

Love the weathered and worn blue color of the shutters of this building. The blue contrasts beautifully with the white and the reds. Love all the details I can see with the architectural elements of this house. I love the title for one could anthropomorphize the windows as open mouths gabbing about what so and so did or said. As the saying goes, 'If these walls could talk, the stories they would tell'. |

feeling blueby lei_73Comment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Great balance of light and shadow to compliment the mood of sadness in this portrait shot! The man is sits with hand on head and furrows on his forehead in a pose that conveys worry and sadness. The blue tones with the weathered texture on the wall strengthen the overall mood projecting the emotions within - feeling blue, feeling down and sad. |

Love the rich and vibrant blues of this daisy floating on the water. Fantastic details too as that center section of the flower and the petals have tack sharp clarity showing shape, pattern and texture. The bokeh shimmer on the blue water is a nice visual touch too. Nicely done! |

Great capture of this bluebird! Great details here from each and every feather to the worms in the beak! This is also a very serendipitous capture for you caught this 'early' bird with breakfast in his/her beak. |

Summer Solstice, Geiranger, Norway, 2018by Bear_MusicComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
This is a very picturesque place to live or visit! Beautiful mountain of green with a gorgeous fjord where the water's glass-like surface reflects the beauty of Geiranger. The red roofs and walls of the houses really pop off of all the greenery drawing the eye to that section of the composition. My one suggestion on a possible way to strengthen the composition is a closer crop to the area with the houses to give the viewer a main subject to focus on. Perhaps cropping out 1/4 of the left side and on top would still show off all the lovely scenery and it would now bring us closer to the nature as well as those houses which are inviting the viewer to come stay awhile. Give the viewer a closer look so that one can explore. |

Wow, that is one dramatic and curvy road in this mountain region! The low hanging clouds add to the dramatic scenery. Very lovely capture! |

Gliding through Sunsetby NeilComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Love the clouds and the colors of the sunset and the balloon. Great photo with minimal elements - just the wide open sky and the hot air balloon. That said, there is one suggestion I have that can further strengthen the image. Since the balloon is 'Gliding Through Sunset" the ground plane should be cropped out. It is negative space in dark silhouette that does not add anything to the image. |

The overhead view allows me to take a peek into the car. And what unexpected sight do I discover there? An adorable, little dog is curled up comfortably on the passenger side seat! It must be a very comfortable seat indeed. Love the composition. The B&W tones and contrasts are wonderfully dynamic - great job! |

Love the overhead view the allows one to peer inside the piano! Love the light and details that showcase all the internal parts of this instrument. It is very much a study of shapes and patterns as one explores this musical composition. |
