Skeleton Keys by sjhulsComment: I love the straight forward presentation of this composition. The keys are eye catching because they are very ornate and pop wonderfully off of that white door. I also love the textures on the door - adds to the feel of age and places a touch of mystery to the photo. Just what will we find behind the door that has been locked for ages...perhaps some old treasures or rooms that have been 'frozen in time' at the time the house was locked up. Congrats on the Red! |

88 keys and none of them fit the lock on her heart. by BrennanOBComment: I loved the concept captured - the picture illustrates the title perfectly. Lighting creates a moody feel - he is playing the blues because his love is scorned. So many musical keys and none can woo the heart of the girl he adores. Congrats on the ribbon! |

Skeletonby nickybComment: Love the warm tones in this composition. The DOF and angle adds interest - as that we are looking at the key from the vantage point of the keyhole. Lighting on the key is great picking up some nice gleam on the key. A bit surprised this did not place higher. |

If I Could Turn Back Time...by pambComment: I loved how you captured the concept! Having a key to turn back time would be lovely but the downside I think is that we would never get anywhere being constantly stuck in time:-) Subject, details and lighting are excellent - I am a bit surprised that this did not place higher. |

Shift Keyby grahamgatorComment: What is this doing down here?! Should have placed higher. I thought this was a great alternate take on the challenge. Loved the B&W tones. The lighting, the angle and the focus on the subject is great! |

Ghosts of Parliamentby HawkinsTComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
Great B&W tones in this photo!!! Love the ghostly people milling about and the zoom lines from passing cars. Those two elements make it look like the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben remain constant; never changing in the face of time. Time zooms on by and people come and go, but this landmark will stand. |

The Skinny Girlsby Art RoflmaoComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
I just don't know WHAT it is exactly about this image but it makes me stop and stare. It is like when you glance at something then you stop in your tracks to take a longer look. These two sculptures of woman look both alien and tribal at the same time. The tilt of the yellow stucco wall strongly invokes the idea that they are going up on an escalator while I am going down. These 'skinny girls' mayhap are going shopping up on the second floor:-) |

End of the ageby NeatComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
I love the blur that adds 'texture' - it is like you can see and feel the brushstrokes on the canvas. It also adds to the mood of the lone man on the bench. It has a lonely 'bygone' tone to it. There is also a 'chill' to the air that I can feel. The feeling of sadness is heavy as the chill air where the man has chosen to sit out in the empty landscape. |

Till The Colors Run by NeilComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
I love the sweep of curved lines in this abstract. The water waves fan out from the bottom left upwards to the top of the canvas. At the top the wave 'crashes' and opens up with splashes of yellow for some bold punch of color. |

Sunset Staccato IIby mgsmith53Comment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
The strengths of the composition is the warm gold hues and the minimalist shapes and the reflections on the water. It is a study in geometric shapes - some lines and then you have the reflected 'illusion' of triangles that captures and holds my attention. |
