Leaves in the Streamby brens29Comment: The water has a milky look to it due to slow shutter speed. In a closeup like this I think it would be better with a fast shutter speed to stop the motion and show off the clear water. Also the flash highlights are pretty distracting. Could you have cropped them out? |

Twin Eyes Look Through The Windowby gsalComment: It's a pretty picture, but I don't think that shutter speed type ghosts are really transparency. Too bad you couldn't have known that the shutter speed challenge was coming, this would be a very strong entry there, but it doesn't meet my definition of this challenge.
Good use of selective de-sat. I love the blue eyes. |

Plastic Windowsby banmornComment: I don't know what I'm looking at behind the screen. I imagine there's water in each of the little holes, refracting the flower (?) behind it?
Honestly, it's been done before, it's been done better, and it's not really transparency.
Good effort though. |

1987by joansuzyComment: Too much post processing or JPEG compression artifacting or something. The edges of the slides are very jagged, and the lighting seems overdone. Would have been better if you had less light on the front, and more from the back. |

A la Magritte / not a cutout!by graphicfunkComment: A clever idea, but it just doesn't do anything much for me. Perhaps the whole shot is a little flat, that might be what is making me so wishy-washy about it. |

Transparent Buildingby NekoNitaComment: A neat shot, but in this case the motion blur from the cars is distracting. I'll bump you up a point on a second look, as I didn't actually see the transparency the first go around.
I question the conversion to B&W. It doesn't add anything, and I think the shot may have been better as a color photo. |

Windshieldby OlyuziComment: This whole shot is very confusing. I don't know what I'm looking at, and what there is, is too high in contrast. |

You are mine, but for the glass.by mpembertonComment: I understand that the critter is in a tank, behind transparent glass. But the point of this challenge was to show transparency. Without the title I wouldn't know that there was transparency here. Nice macro, but not a strong enough tie to the challenge for my taste. |
