San Juan Beachby cddogg13Comment: Trying different thigs is good but what is the subject of this picture? The focus in the foreground is on...sand? We never make it back to the potentially interesting figures in the background. A foreground subject to go along with the one in the background would help. |

Silver Pointby christie3Comment: I like the low angle to give you more reflection of the rock and the triangle also found in the clouds on top but this is still a hard picture to see. I am not sure. Maybe too dark? How does it look in color? More contrast? You are definately going moody on this. |

To surf or not to surfby jaysonmcComment: I think your horizon it too close to the top of the picture. I might suggest getting closer to your subject too. He ls lost in the far corner and his looking out of the frame pushes him out further. |

Tranquillity of Natureby BrianRComment: Very simple and elegant. You may get some notes about the tree should be at the point of thirds, but I think in this case it works where it is. It helps balance the water in the lower right. |

Dramatic beachby anshalin1Comment: This is a dramatic beach. I like how the streaks in the sand/ water echo the clouds. You also have blue balancing the top of the picture with the bottom. Excellent job! |

Sun Set - Mumbaiby abhinavsahComment: This is an incredible shot! Great lighting and depth of focus with the anchor in the foreground leading our eye to the boat and the sun. The clouds also add lots of drama. |

Waves comming inby TUBORGComment: This has tons of potential that I do not think are quite realized. There is nothing special about the object in the foreground and it is directly centered. I think it is more of a distraction than a help in this case. The light is great. Maybe a more horizontal view with a bit more of the rocks on the right and a straighter horizon. Try it again- I am sure you can do it better! |
