I like the perspective and composition. Yes, a little motion blur-as you are aware. Could have tried setting the camera down on the road itself. You could hold you hand on the top of it for your "quick exit".

I once spent a winter in London. In February of that year the sun was kind enough to grace us with its presence for a total of some 26 hours for the entire month.

Seems like it is working fine here. I don't see any hotspots. I do have to be careful on my P&S Fuji not to have any sun hitting the lens or I get flare problems. I sometimes wish I had an IR DSLR but then I lose the freedom of carrying this and my color DSLR together. I really can't afford it either.

Nice use of the tree for framing and the shadows are not too dark so that we lose the details of the truck and tree under it.

Pretty neat. Did you manually trip the shutter every so often or do you have a way to do it automatically? I don't find anything relating to time lapse for my D80.

Well worth the journey! The color is really great. Lots of mystery in the shot and plenty to look at in it too. With IR each picture is unique and I too am never quite sure where it will end up with the processing. I may start in one direction, but sometimes it tells me to change. Part of the enjoyment of IR photography for me.
