Novemberby rayg544Comment: I think this could be better without all the half green grass in the foreground. Get closer if you can. |

Aprilby JdroullardComment: A little dark for me and cropped a bit too tight. |

Aprilby dahlinComment: Very nice. Seems slightly underexposed (whites seem a little dark). |

Strollling6194.jpgby JeffryZComment: Yes it was in infrared. Thanks for the comments! I wasn't thinking about the Free Study. Could have saved it for that. Too late now! |

Primal Beastsby JeffryZComment: In responce to some of the comments, it does look as though this might not be real. These are live warhogs (ugly beasties) and were shot at the San Diego Zoo with a point and shoot camera which was converted to shoot in infrared only. It was overcast so the shadows were very soft and this adds to the look of it being a set-up exhibit although it was not. Thank you for your votes and comments. |

After The Fog Rolls In by JeffryZComment: Crystal Pier in PB. I was up in La Jolla in the afternoon and it was nice and sunny- by the time I got back down to PB (about 4pm) the fog was getting pretty thick already. |

After The Fog Rolls In by JeffryZComment: Intersting (to me) personal note- my three highest scoring photos so far were all taken with a different camera. Highest was with a point and shoot (Fuji F31fd converted to shoot in infrared), a DSLR (Nikon D80), and a "prosumer" (Konica Minolta A200 which I no longer have but a friend is enjoying). |

After The Fog Rolls In by JeffryZComment: Wow! My second ribbon ever! I almost didn't go out because of the fog but glad I decided go to experiment with a few shots. This one got a lot of great responce from everybody. Thank you all! |

Into the Fireby JeffryZComment: Thank you for all the great comments. This placed better than I thought it might. Other than adding the color it is pretty much exactly as shot. I was at first concerned about the birds being too close to the edge of the frame but like the way they lead into it. Taken with a point and shoot I could not really see the birds in the monitor- I just tried point towards them and panning with them. They become more secondary to the clouds. |
