Monica, I really like this image. It's an interesting object both in trying to figure out exactly what it is, but also visually. It appeals to me in both ways. I like the movement from lower right to upper left, and the focus helps lead the eye to the main subject. I might have tried to get a few more of the little black thingies (seeds?) in sharp focus. You may want to try another, very light sharpen on the reduced version, as some resizing can affect sharpening. I like the use of negative space here, the white background and soft shadows are quite effective.

Another really good conversion, capturing excellent tones in the stone. Brings you really into the feel of being at this courthouse, and the lighting is excellent. I find the reflections in the glass a bit distracting, but I don't have any clue what you could do about them!

Great subject, wonderful lines, excellent conversion with nice tones. I might have liked to have seen the bottom of the door, but as the lines lead the eye upward, I didn't even realize it wasn't there until the fourth or fifth look! Well captured and presented.

Lovely image, with wonderful diagonal lines complementing each other nicely. The contrast is a bit low across the whole image, with the sky a bit gray, and it looks like you're losing some tree detail in the sky. You might try selecting the sky and doing some work in curves/levels, or alternatively doing some dodge and burn might bring that up a bit. Great image with lots of additional potential!

I love these; I have some yellow and red ones in my front garden and was going to shoot a red yesterday. There's something about a flower that simply can't be cut and put in a bundle that is perfect (for those who don't know, they won't make it five minutes, or so I'm told); it won't be captured in real life, so this is the best we can do! This is a nice capture. The one I've done as a yellow (with a butterfly in it) looked flat and awful. You've done a really good job with the textures in the petals and the details in the center.

This really does look like a dream to me, one that the dreamer has let us in on (though I think the dreamer sees the boy, not that the boy is the dreamer). There is a strong story here, talking to me through the image and the processing. Fav.

So I'm finally catching up, and I see how this fits with my front part of the horse shot :) I cropped mine just a very little, too. I wonder what would happen if we grafted the shots together . . . would be fun to try to get two shots like this and put them together (having shot them with that in mind). Delightful tones in this.

Lovely composition, excellent processing, such control over process to get the result you want, and a result that has such impact.

Excellent use of contrast here to emphasize the ordinary and force us to look at it, really look at it. Nicely seen and captured. I need to open my eyes when I'm out with my shot, instead of searching for a preconceived shot.

How did you pay that model? Prints for time? Brilliantly spotted and shot, and I love the high contrast conversion.
