These are lovely yellow poppies that keep springing up in my garden, lots of people treat them as weeds but I love their delicate petals and could never pull one out. As you can see...Its raining again in the UK!!!

Just cropped sharpened and converted to B&W

Wonderful flower! The raindrops add to it's beauty. Great capture!

This is one that because of the colors involved (I'm assuming background is green leafy stuff) is hard to get good contrast in B&W. In this case, it may be better in color. The framing and focus is lovely, by the way. Another thing you could try is converting by way of first using a saturation layer to create as much difference in color as possible between the yellows and the greens. I'm not exactly sure HOW to do that - maybe turn yellow down and turn green up, or add black to the green using selective color - that might work. Then convert.

I love these; I have some yellow and red ones in my front garden and was going to shoot a red yesterday. There's something about a flower that simply can't be cut and put in a bundle that is perfect (for those who don't know, they won't make it five minutes, or so I'm told); it won't be captured in real life, so this is the best we can do! This is a nice capture. The one I've done as a yellow (with a butterfly in it) looked flat and awful. You've done a really good job with the textures in the petals and the details in the center.

It sure doesn't look like a weed to me! The delicate detail is beautiful. I don't think I'd mind weeds if they looked like that!

Great DOF, great capture with the water dropplets, I think I would play with levels and contrast just a bit though and maybe burn the backgroound just a little to bring out the flower more, but then my floral shots completely suck so maybe you shouldn't listen to me...LOL.
Great shot!!!

The detail in the center of the flower is spot on.....

Nice sharp focus, I like the water droplets to add some interest. I don't reallyc are for the background here though, it's a bit distracting.
