Not Cast Asideby SkipComment: This location seems to keep appearing in the challenge, but each shot has taken a different approach. The perspective for me here is different from the others, with the rows of benches looking like they almost don't match up. It gives it a somewhat chaotic feeling, but imbued with white throughout. The contradictions in what I see are a bit difficult to set aside, but I do like the image on the whole. |

Spying on the TSAby NobodyComment: This is a really nicely conceived and executed image; it is spot on for the challenge, and the use of the white background serves well to draw focus to the suitcases and Waldo. That said, it doesn't really speak to me, but this is a personal reaction rather than a reflection on the technical merit or the art of the shot. |

The studentby Rino63Comment: Part of me is drawn to this as a reflection of what we see each day, roads, curbs, grass, but at the same time I feel it holds more promise; why does "Waldo" sit against the tree; is he reading? writing? thinking? I can't really tell because of his size (which contributes to hiding Waldo, but for me weakens the image a bit); I also would have liked to see a bit more contrast in the image, as the lighting on the grass is a bit flat to my eyes. |

Watcher in the Woodsby EmerkazaComment: Nice take on the challenge, and an obviously very cooperative and helpful model. The colors here work well for their purpose, though the lighting on the leaves is a bit bright for my liking, and the background trees are a bit flat for me, as well. I might have tried not having "Waldo" so close to center, but I'm not sure which direction I might have gone with him. |

Observe!by NeilComment: Some interesting colors in the sky here, and definitely an interesting building. I might have liked to have seen a slightly longer exposure to allow the building to come out more in the shot (along with the rest of the foreground), but as is it's a interesting image. |

riding the wavesby xtianComment: Good take on the challenge, with some interesting elements to support it and good composition. Overall the size of the elements in the DPC image causes them to lose something (not sharpness, something else), which for me makes it a bit more difficult to get into. The water highlights are nicely handled, though, as were the waves themselves (nice movement in the water while not being too blurred). |

impact zoneby rozComment: Good approach to the challenge, with great colors juxtaposed here to good effect. The sea green is delightful, and the exposure speed works well with the subject. Absent the challenge theme, there's not necessarily a lot to see here, but it meets its objective well enough for these purposes. |

hiding in plane viewby skewsmeComment: I like the tones in this a lot, especially in the field, which looks almost painted (I can almost see brush strokes!!); the silvery-ness (yes, a made up word) works well for me, and the composition is strong as well. Interesting and unique in the challenge. Nicely done. |

Afternoon Walkaboutby NaldComment: Interesting choice for the challenge, with nice lines and light tones throughout. Seems like a great place to go walkabout, with things to see everywhere you look. I might have liked to have seen a bit more contrast here, and perhaps some taming of the highlights, but it seems to me to reflect well what I might feel if I was there (ie, bright sun that I wish I could tame). Nicely shot. |

Broken Dreamsby Alley CatComment: Great choice of subject, nicely meeting the challenge but not making all the choices based on Waldo. I might have preferred the house a bit less centered, but depending on the shot (ie, what's left or right of the house) that may or may not have worked. The subdued tones throughout this are delightful, and the overall feel is one of abandonment and loss, which is quite strong throughout the image. Nicely done. |
