Mayuby inshaalaComment: Like a painting, all the way down to the fence and trees; great use of available lighting and good technical choices (composition, exposure, etc.) |

Ellieby NeuferlandComment: Great, teenagery expression, well composed in the frame. The lighting on her hair is a bit harsh and I find the backround a bit distracting, but generally a good capture. |

Wassup?by TallisManComment: I looked at the image without the title first, and thought how delicate, scared and ready to flee he/she looked. With the title, I see some attitude in the stance and the stare. I like it both ways. Nicely captured. |

A Colourful Lifeby mvpComment: Excellent, such great colors. I might have cloned out the little branch sticking up behind where the tail meets the body, but I'm not sure it would have been allowed. Great capture. |

Cloudriseby jerseyjimComment: Good capture, almost as if the larger cloud on the right has given birth to the little cloud on the left. |

Night at the jazz clubby CaseyAllenComment: So many cool elements to this, the whole feel of it is interesting, from the overly dark reds to the garish carpet pattern, to the compressed feel at the edges (wide angle lens?). Lots to look at here. |

Julsby kellianComment: Interesting setting and composition, though I find the lighter area in the upper right trees a bit distracting (perhaps a bit of burning to darken it a bit would help, but I'm not sure). |

Separationby LevTComment: They needed to go home, it was after lunch and the kids wanted to get back to their friends. They could walk around the square, but that would take almost ten minutes. Going across would save time, and mom could finally get started on dinner while the kids played. They would go across. "But stay close to me, keep your distance, and don't look at it as we pass. That thing has nothing to do with us, it doesn't belong here, with us, so just keep your distance." Nothing to do with us . . .
A wonderfully seen and captured scene. Separation on many levels. Delightful. |

b l e a kby MelethiaComment: Not sure how you can say you're the only one who likes it when your commentator average is 8.3333 (as is often said, you clearly found your audience). It so wonderfully captures -- in what I believe is the spirit of impressionism -- the sense of place, one beyond our precise senses, beyond our purely conscious sense of lines, and depth, and breadth. I almost feel as though I've been there, but I know I couldn't point it out if you took me there and asked me to. I've been there, but I've never been there. Excellent. |

Deep Blueby TruegshtComment: Wonderful capture; this is probably what my eye would look like if someone was trying to do a macro of it; somehow I still feel an expression here, even without the context of the rest of the face to confirm it. Nice. |
