This doesn't do much for me; the contrast is a bit muted, some of the spines are too bright, and some of the titles are lost while others are not. The pattern for me is common place, but I don't see it here any differently than I do on my own CD rack (I'm looking to see things differently in photographs rather than just what I see each day).

Glass Christmas ornaments are difficult to photograph (the reflection in the main ball is distracting for me), but this is a good shot. I would have liked to have seen more depth of field here to emphasize the pattern itself (created by the balls themselves).

Nice depth of field, but the subject matter does not do much for me; I see these the way I see gifts every day, and the patterns of the gift wrap and their placement are there, but not different in a way that I would expect from an image focused on patterns.

This looks like a technically well done photo, but the subject matter doesn't do it for me, especially that I don't see much of a pattern in the balls themselves, and the dots on each are distracting to me in a way that I don't think was intended (some balls have them, others don't, there are different numbers on different balls). I'm definitely picking nits with this, but it's how it strucke me!

I like your use of color here, but something about it doesn't work for me; the flowers (grass?) don't seem to be sharply in focus, and the background (waves, etc.) aren't either, so I'm not always sure where I'm supposed to be looking.

Good image with good subject matter, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more contrast (perhaps in color) among the stones, or the use of light to enhance the overall image. Some of the stones are a bit overexposed (on the right and in the upper right especially), and some post-processing may have helped this and given more impact to the photo! I do like it, though.

I like this image; it takes nice advantage of the falling of the light to imply additional patterns and double the pattern of the windows. Well done!
