Is there a fossil branch in there somewhere? I'm afraid I can't see it. Lighting and texture of the rock is good but it lacks something in the composition.

Good try on the composition, I like the position of the branch and the water but the backdrop is too busy and draws attention away from the subject. Shallower DOF would have helped a lot.

It's a strong abstract image, good colour and sharpness. The image is a little "dirty" though, couple of smudges and dust spots, would probably be easier to sort out with advanced editing =)

Can see what you've attempted, but the whole image is a bit muddled. No point of interest for the viewer. Focus and exposure are spot on though

Lovely sharp focus on the bird, and the colour and contrast are excellent. Background and branches are a bit distracting though, shallower DOF would have helped.

I Composition is a little central for my taste and you seem to have rather a lot of noise, but colour and depth of field are good.
