This is a tree, not a branch. I am not taking much from it. The pic is a tad overexposed (the branches disappear in the light). It might have worked a bit better if you had underexposed a little and brought it up later. Even better would have been closer where you would have been able to focus on the branch aspect.

I think i might have tried to crop it at the bottom of the hill.... I can see why you kept it in.. but something inside says it would be great cropped where the buildings or bushes are.. they are distracting and undefined.. which to me takes away from the Tree on the hill... Great shot.. love the sky

Flipping this photo horizontal would be nice so that the land leads the eye to the right - ending with the tree. It would then become more the subject of the photo rather than the sky and the land on the right.
