..until the sun comes up over sta monica blvd...by TapSiLogComment: OK, this is awesome. What a great subject, such beautiful colouring that gaurantees huge impact. I think you have to miss out on the perfect 10 simply because the off-square verticals are not arty enough for you to get away with. As a result it looks like sloppy post-p - which it may not be at all. Notmally a dead-centred composition doesn't work, but I tink the equal balance of stark yellow and stark blue lets you get away with it. - 9 |

My Branch!by PurpleFireComment: The parrot is just so beautiful and the picture of it great. The branch connection is pretty minimalistic which marks down a pic (for the challenge) which deserves better - 6

Dang Tree Branchby cowcollectComment: Shots like this are always a struggle with light aren't they. The overexposure of the path and the under exposure of the foreground is the photographer's lament. It leaves this one strugging to find a point of interest |

Branches of Lifeby sz1_Comment: Selective desat works, perhaps the cut end not cropped off doesn't although the gradation from white to dark on the table does work - 8 |

Fishing Interuptedby The EskimoComment: This is a great shot. The low lighting, the gradient sky going from blue to pink, the fishing tackle as a quirky point of interest all work for this image. The slight OOF costs it a point - 8 |

All in all... Another branch on the wallby sbgreenComment: Wow, the combination of a stunning architectural shot on its own, plus the tree and its shadow combine to make this a top effort in this challenge. The offline verticals niggle a bit. Not obvious enough to look deliberate/art so maybe just not attended to. Costs it a 10, scores 9 |

Branched Veinsby vtruanComment: Stunning. The colours and textures are captivating. Might even scrape in as being relevant to the challenge :) |
