OK nice concept. Fits the challenge nicely. Was this shot handheld? A faster shutter and/or tripod would have helped. Quite a bit blurry. Also if you had used a shallower DOF as to focus attention on the grinder and blur the BG.

Thanks for the comments all. I'm a surveyor by trade so that's where the inspiration came from. I also took a page out of Jacko's book and used a printed page as the background/foreground; the target/concentric circles were drawn in AutoCad and printed out on my inkjet. I'm very pleased with my final score; my wife was disappointed though , she thought I should have ribbonned but then she has alterior motives - she wanted to be able to say, "See, now what do u need a Canon EOS10D for?" :)
