Pasta by handby pupup33Comment: If you had actual homemade past in this scene it would have worked. The dry store bought pasta takes away from the image. As for the tomato, it adds colour, but to me seems out of place. If you were looking for something to accentuate the shot, maybe a nice olive oil decanteur? Otherwise, technically a very good image. |

Sydney's Sledby bbower1956Comment: I like the tones in this shot. I'd like the composition more if the crop wasn't quite so tight. |

"Old School"by cwalmyeComment: I like the tone, it adds to the nostalgic feel. Some pencil cuttings would have been a nice touch. |

Happy Holidays!by DrJOnesComment: Dr. Jones I presume? Although a very pretty model, I really don't consider this to be a "classy" holiday decoration per se. I guess then she would be a nice decoration on some lucky guys(or gals for that matter) arm. I find this image a little grainier than what we expect from the good doctor. Hope I'm not wrong about the identity of the photographer. Forgive me if so. A little too much eggnog I guess. |

Decoration of the Natureby hgardComment: Even though your title suggests it I don't get a holiday feeling from a sunset per se. Other than the symbolism of the cross, I don't see much that says holidays. As a photograph, you might try darkening your foreground more and toning down the glare of the sun a just a little. Also, you might try cropping vertically, and include the cross sillouette as you main focus. Then the glare of the sun serves a greater purpose. edit - On a second look, I realized a cross isn't really a symbol of Christmas but of Christ, if that makes any sense. |

Christmas in Victoria by ccraftComment: The fish-eye aspect of this shot is what makes it work. I think a rotation of 1 degree right and a little tighter crop, just enough to remove the trees on either side would have worked better (I tried it in Elements). I think this will do well in any case. |

Happy Holidaysby artvetComment: Great composition. I like the high-key look of the shot, other than the overly blown out detail on the rims of the candles. I think this will do well. |

It's a Blue Christmas Without You by bledfordComment: Very nice tone. Probably would have worked better as a verticle crop; the positioning of the bulb and your angle allows for this without having it look too centered, I believe. I think this will do very well none the less. |
