| A wonderful image. Its minor drawback is soft focus as the eyes approach the steel grinders. Nevertheless, it remains a strong visual with lovely sepia. Bumping up. |

| Nice subject, nice lighting, nice tones. Unfortunately, the image seems to have been executed somewhat hastily -- the gap or shadow at the lower edge of the backdrop is distracting, and it seems rather under-sharpened for web viewing. |

Composition: 8, Might use additional prop for more interest, pencil etc.
Technical: 8, Like sepia, but a bit dark in shadowed areas. Blends in with BG too much.
Appeal: 6

| Way better than my take on this :) Great use of dualtones and dof, lighting is great (high marks for use of a pencil sharpener -- and I thought I was being original!) |

| Nice and I like the way that the picture even looks old. Could have been have been a little more clearer though but other wise, good! Thumbs up! |

| I like the tone, it adds to the nostalgic feel. Some pencil cuttings would have been a nice touch. |
