Black is beautifulby FyzarlComment: Good textur caught well by the focus, but the composition doesn't take advantage of the stripes. With such a close shot a more abstract composition may be more effective... perhaps even closer. |

Beach Sandalby KOKOCATComment: It's not obvious whether the footprint, the flipflop, or the wave is meant to be the focal point of the shot. Lose the footprint and sharpen focus on the shoe and it would work much better. |

Work Bootsby alison05Comment: Awkward crop, losing the left toe. Should be a portrait composition maybe, and the pristine wood pannelling doesn't suit the title at all. It also seems that the floor is more sharpply focused than the boots. |

Bubbles & Lime Green Converse.by sumpComment: I like the idea of these 2 elements together. The execution could be a lot better however. Take the focus, use the writing on the side of the boot as a guide. and the composition has a few distracting and superfluous elements like the leaves in the bottom left, and the picture top right. |

Hard Workingby glad2badadComment: This is another of those odd shots in this challenge where the photographer has antropomorphisized their shoes, Are those boots just after chopping that wood? You get me? Should have left the boots on the person chopping the wood. |

Bear Footby dphillipsComment: Without the title the shot doesn't make itself clear. The concept seems a bit uninspired and just looks like an oddly cropped pic of a teddy bear lying on an untidy trainer. Perhaps you intended a 'cute' image but it just seems messy, and unplanned. |
