I really like the concept here, but I feel that the lighting was far too harsh for the subject. There's a child -like innocence lying in the photo that could easily be brought oout if it weren't for the prison wall spotlight effect you have. Now I find lighting very difficult: I don't have any, but a couple of lamps or simply shooting outside on a cloudy day (perfect for still life) would really have boosted your score.
BTW thanks for your comment; I completely disagree with you, but it's a matter of opinion.

| Nice shot. I wish it were a bit more in focus, though, and a bit brighter. Also, I find the edge of the window rather distracting. |

| the bubbles are such a great addition to this! I have issues with the texture in the floor, and the frame on the wall, but the bubbles are such a cool surprise overall I just love it, 7 |

| I like the idea of these 2 elements together. The execution could be a lot better however. Take the focus, use the writing on the side of the boot as a guide. and the composition has a few distracting and superfluous elements like the leaves in the bottom left, and the picture top right. |

| I really like this picture because of the bubbles and the color of the shoes. It reminds me of some kind of fantasy...like magic shoes...or something. The lighting is a little off, but it's still uber awesome. =) |

| Great picture. Though the bubbles are a bit random, they do kind of add 'something' to the picture. And the shoes are at an interesting angle. The wall looks a little too gray though, it might've looked better with less gray. (Makes the picture seem kind of foggy) Kudos to your creativity. (Note: The right shoe looks like it's going to eat you! Aaa! :P) |

| FUN! I think it would have a bit more impact if the counter were solid and there wasn't the corner of a painting behind the right shoe. This has great potential. |
