and i assure you, that despite the lousy smog (did you know tourism in the Smokies causes smog levels to ocassionally be higher than any major city except L.A. during peak seasons?), the colors were positively gorgeous.

lucky i had a vacation the weekend the colors peaked. :-)

in my opinion the way the horse's head and the ugly (sorry) boxy building meet/overlap is no good. but the trees and the horse and everything else is simply beautiful.
