Ashleighby trainComment: I like the crop and her smile...but there's something washed out looking. Perhaps some makeup would remedy that. |

Onlooking...by jmleliiComment: I really like this photo. I love the shadows, the light on her face and her pose. I just don't think it fits the challenge that well. In fact, it almost looks black and white. |

My Joeyby gwendyComment: I like the cap & the green shirt. I also like his smile and pose. The (furniture?) in the background is distracting to me. |

working lateby fitmpdnsthtrComment: This just doesn't seem like a portrait to me. If it were lit better and the photo were straight it would look more like a stock photo. |

"That's funny Mr. Tuff Guy!"by NaldComment: I'd like to see this cropped lower to see the rest of his arm & the entire tattoo. The black shirt blends in too well with the background. A dark grey would look better & still keep the dark look of the photo. |

Patrickby bicrayComment: I would have used a different color shirt. I think this one blends in too much with the background. Also, the background seems very stark, not a softer, natural white that I'd rather see. |

Blue-Eyed Blondeby NobodyComment: I might have used a slightly brighter background. Her tank top should be adjusted so that it fits better.
It's interesting though..there's something 'adult' about her. Might be a combination of the dark background, as well as her pose & serious expression. I like the fact that it's not a typical smiley kid type of image. |

Kimberlyby groggyfroggyComment: I would have lifted up the blinds in the background to give it a backlit effect ...providing that there was available light. If this was taken in the evening then I would have waited to take this during daylight hours. I also might have used a reflector to pop some light onto her face. I don't care for the hair accessory on her wrist.
Smile is nice. Pose is good. |
